Hello Designwall, it’s not possible to display my flickr pictures on the homepage of my DWSimplex. I tried configuring the widget with my flickr username but with no results. I see the message: SSL is required! Please help!

Hi,
It’s because commutation is sent to the http API address instead of https.

Change all http://api.flickr.com/services. address in the plugin to https://api.flickr.com/services

I believe Flickr recently closed the http API. Open the widgets.php file in the folder path
“wp-content -> themes -> dw-simplex -> inc -> widgets.php”.

lines 197 + 218

Hope this helps !

I’m trying to connect my Flickr account to this widget and I don’t know how can I form the Flickr’s link in the username field. The entire link (https://www.flickr.com/gp/xxxxxxxxxxx) gives the error “User not found”.
