Image attachment feature

Hi There,
I am facing issue with image attachment. How does image attachment actually works.
Here I can see user need to put image link to attach the image(i.e user need to put the image some where in drop box and share its ink ) .
But these process doesn’t seems user friendly. Any idea when we can expect some cool image attachment feature(i.e browse and attach the image from local machine).

Thanks for writing us!
Which image attachment function that you mentioned here? And what issues with it that you are facing now?
Because actually the DW Q&A plugin supports uploading an image to a question already. When post a new question, you can click the Insert/ edit image on the MceToolbar and insert an image.

More of a user upload then add an image link would be awesome.

Hi Dominic, When I click on insert/edit image button, I see a popup with below info. here I am suppose to put the url of the image file to insert it in a question. Image URL :
Image description:
Alignment :
Dimensions x
Border :
Vertical space ;
Horizontal space:
As a normal user who is not technically aware of links of an image and all, will not feel comfortable to add an image via this technique. It will be awesome if we get some feature like, the way we insert the image in facebook to post a comment. Regards, Harsh

Yes, we will discuss and make this function in later updated version of the plugin.

Hello,
may be in the next version will be easier to make uoloading pictures to dropbox, for example as plug-in “simple dropbox” and do not need to be afraid to upload malicious scripts

Hi Dominic,

As my site is doing well. I need better image attachment feature. My users are Looking for it like anything.

Please help suggest.. Is there any way by which (ie. plugin or code)we can override your default image attachment feature…?

At the moment we don’t yet plan to support this feature for the DW Q & A plugin as you prefer. We have released a Roadmap for the plugin, please follow here to know the new features for the upcoming version of the plugin. Of course, the roadmap is not fixed, it can be changed and more features will be added based on all the feedback from our users. Therefore, we are looking forward to hearing more from you.

At the moment, this feature still does not support in the DW Q&A plugin.
