I initially used the links provided in the confirmation email:
DW Wall –
• DW Wall 1.1.2 Quickstart
• DW Wall 1.1.2 Themes
• DW Wall PSD
The downloads gave me zip files similar to the list that is shown within the install instructions. A style.css file (size: 385) is included as are
custom-style.css (size: 0) and editor-style.css (size: 0). There are also some other “extras” to those listed in the manual install instruction
list including dwqa-templates (1 168) jigoshop (42 902) content-blog.php etc.

Today 30 August I have attempted to install the theme. As per instructions I checked that the .css file was present:
i.e. I opened dw_wall_1.1.2_themes from the above list and confirmed style.css (385) was present.
Try to upload dw-wallpress_1.1.2_theme.zip and get error message
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Assistance please. Thanks

Dominic,
Greetings. OK as mentioned I’m with hostgator:
https://gator3081.hostgator.com:2083/
username: nyny
password: lzM6d’c9wgYp
I assume you will install the template itself and then I apply it to the wp domains as required (i.e. I can install on multiple sites having bought it can’t I?) however if instead you plan to install to an actual domain the first domain I was planning to use it on is trustrat.com.
Again Thank you for your support and assistance with this.

Apologies for the delay in replying to you.
I have checked the theme/trustrat.com folder of your hosting and saw other themes inside of this one which you installed previously. Please take note that if you want to install our theme with full content like our demo site now, the previous themes will be lost. However, if you just want to install theme and you will custom content by yourself, still remain the old themes, please let us know your username and password of your site. We will help you out.

Dominic – welcome back. OK Im new to WP. I bought the wp templates and the seller set the trustrat and 2 other domains up as part of the purchase deal. Upon starting to update and personalise the sites I noted that other templates were sitting in the background and could be switched to just by nominating them. Given the complexities of the Designwall template I can now understand that I can’t set it up in the background and then just switch to it. Perhaps the fact that really it is a totally new site template should be advertised more up front so newbies like me don’t think you can just have it sitting behind the scenes until wanted. So, where to from here? I’ve noted that one of my other sites – brainsetmatch.com is getting more hits than trustrat and I’m thinking of starting with this site as my first designwall site. If you can confirm that the best approach is to “dedicate” the domain to the designwall template then I will save all the articles there and then provide you with access and we run with just the new template. Ultimately I would still like to get it installed on both trustrat and paristragics.com (the third site) as it is just so great a design therefore specific info on what the problem was/is with the initial install would mean perhaps I can do subsequent installs on my own. In fact is the problem due to other templates existing on the site? How do you get around this given that as soon as you install WP a couple of free template options are also set up automatically?Anyway welcome to another week and Thanks for continued support.

In case that you want to install the theme and still keep all your previous content, just use the DW Wall theme package. After downloading, upload the theme into your site, always make sure you activate the correct theme. However, please take note that your old site had already been configured out and not the same our theme, such as menu, widget, so that you need to take a look user guide to help you do quickly http://www.designwall.com/guide/dw-wallAlso, I can help you install theme on your site if you want, please send me username & password of your site.Hope this helps !

Hi,
Apologies for the delay in replying to you.
I have already uploaded DW WallPress and still keep all previous content, now, just follow our user-guide to configure out the site, take a look at here  http://www.designwall.com/guide/dw-wall/
To help your content become more awesome, you need to use ” more tags” in editor area  for your post to shorten the content of the post, also you can use a plugin to help you https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-custom-auto-excerpt/.

In addition, please disable the plugins which you used because  some plugins have conflict with our theme. If you have anything else, don’t hesitate to contact us. We are ready to help you out.
Note. Please take note that this theme is available for free, we don’t support the quickstart package to get all full content like our demo.

Dominic,Greetings. Nice to hear from you. Thanks for the heads up on the “more tags” and plugins. I picked up on the option to use “more” in the admin area so will be reducing the items to something more in line with the style of the template. Just one question though while you mention the theme is available free (and I saw that) I actually bought my copy believing that the free one probably had some aspects not available. Currently I’m working on more articles and intend to change the menu topic completely.Again Thanks for your interest and follow up you are clearly showing that both yourself (in particular) and DW do have their customer interests firmly at heart so excellent customer support. Cheers.
