The page looks familiar? You may recognize by now that the page was using the timeline layout, first introduced by Facebook. I guess we are all familiar with the timeline layout thanks to Facebook. Inspired by this unique layout, we have decided to turn it into a theme for WordPress. The recap page is our HTML version of upcoming WordPress themes DW Timeline & DW Timeline Pro – featuring the popular timeline layout for blog and portfolio.
Yes! You hear it right. We will release 2 themes: Free version DW Timeline and Premium version DW Timeline, both featuring the timeline layout as you see on our recap page.
The Premium version will be released later on. As for now, let’s welcome our free WordPress theme timeline – DW Timeline. Explore – enjoy and decide whether you like it or not.
Timeline Layout
Timeline is a very fresh design in which posts and articles are nicely displayed in a time flow. This is also a better way to tell your story in time order. Same goes for our WordPress theme DW Timeline. And personally I think this layout is best suited for blog pages.
On the right side, there is a timeline scrubber. Basically this is a sweet shortcut, a navigation where you can click to jump to a specific time slot.
6 post formats
Built for blogging, the free theme supports up to 6 post formats, including: Standard, Quote, Image, Gallery, Video and Status.
