Here we are again with our regular update for the 5-star rating WordPress plugin: DW Question and Answer.
The plugin has been updated to the latest version 1.2.4 with Editor update for WordPress 3.9, new language translations added and bug fixes.
Ready for WordPress 3.9
Since the release of WordPress 3.9 Beta 2, we are getting closer to the final release of WordPress 3.9 in April. For that, we start preparing our plugin for a smooth transition from WordPress 3.8 to WordPress 3.9. In this version 1.2.4, we have updated the Editor, based on WordPress 3.9 Beta 2, and have it prepared for the official upgrade.
New languages support
Within a week, we are so grateful to receive translation files for the plugin from friends all over the world who help translating the plugin into different languages. In this version, we have added 3 more languages:
- Russian language – submitted by Roman Astrotenko
- French language – submitted by Kanzari Haithem
- Spanish language – submitted by David Robles
That increases our supported languages up to 8 languages in total: English, German, Spanish, Persian, French, Romanian, Russian and Turkish. Not stopping at here yet, we still open to any translation contribution.
That’s it for this time update. I know that some are waiting for other features to be updated (anonymous question is one of them). Believe me, it’s a long list of features that we are working on. We have them already and will take time to develop and release all. A bit slow in release but we are getting there so stay tuned and support us guys.
Meanwhile, enjoy the plugin and note that you should always back-up your site before proceed to any update.
P.S.: we will the DWQA Embed Question Add-on soon this week. Stay tuned for our news!
Any update about user rule? Seems not working with woocommerce user rules.
Thanks
Hard for me to answer this. We are focusing on the point system first, but we note that down already and will work on that soon.
We are using it our themeum.com site and Woocommerce user rules are customers but customers rules is absent in DWQA settings.
I’m fully aware of that and understand your concern. Will do our best to push this feature.
Great work!
could this be any cooler?
