Ads / Widgets in DW-Medium

Hi guys!

I like DW Medium theme. But I’m missing some space for ads or widgets. I’m wondering if is possible to insert some ads space between posts. Like this image, for example:
(note: when I say “banner here” I’m thinking to google adsense for exemple)

Is there any code I can add to make this possible?

Apart from that, maybe you can consider to add some spaces for banners/widgets (head/footer,…) in the next theme update.
