Hi, Since the latest WP update, I am no longer able to click in the Question Details field or the Answer field.
is there a way to answer the questions from the backend? I see how to add answers, but how do I attach them to a question?
Thanks
Hi,
At the moment, our plugin does not support to answer the questions from the backend. Regarding your issue from after updating WP. Firstly, please deactivate all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one and let us know if you find the problematic plugin(s). Maybe there is a conflict in plugins.
Regards,
Hi, I deactivated every non-essential plugin that has been installed or updated since i installed DWQA back in November, and none resolved the issue. In another thread, I read that you’re working on an update to the software. Is that still in the works? If so, do you have an idea when you will release it?
Thanks
You can send me username & password of your site (via private answer) for further checking. Also, we will discuss about your issue.
Thanks, but I can’t. It is a private site for my client and their clients only. I have a work around that I can use until there is an update. I use the "comments" field to answer the questions.
ok, I know. We will discuss about your issue in the next version.
Hey man, you can send me your site for further checking.
Thanks, but I can’t. It is a private site for my client and their clients only.
Really hard to know the issue in your site, I hope the next version will resolve your issue 🙂
Do you have an approximate time that the next up will happen? Thanks
I meant to type "next update" not "next up". Thanks
understand what you mentioned above, however, unfortunately, it’s hard for us to let you know exactly when we can finish the DW Social Feed plugin to be compatible with WordPress 4.1. We always try and will upgrade as soon as possible.
Regards,
Hi, I have permission to create an account for you. Could you tell me the email address I should use for the account? Thanks
I have discovered that it is a conflict with my theme. The issue does not occur to users who doesn’t have theme permissions. So, all this time, it has only been an issue for me, no one else. So, I resolve the issue this way: I created a user role specifically for answering and asking questions that has no theme editing permissions, and I created a new account for myself with that user role. Thanks for your help!
