Hi,
 
Does your plugin allow me to assign users to a category and they’ll get notifications every time there’s a new question? 
 
I’m considering using the plugin for a support type forum and want to assign “experts” to each category and then email them when there’s a new question so they know they have something to respond to. Is this possible?
 
Also, do I have the ability to add custom fields to the profile page?

Hi,
At the moment, it is very difficult to intergate this feature into the plugin. We will send and notify our technical team. If everything is good, we will support it in the upcoming versions of the plugin.

We have created a DW Email Advance plugin, you can download here:

When you create or edit a category in Question >> Question category, you can see the text section is Manager Emails
you can type the email of manager that you want to manage the categories, you can allow multiple managers can be separated by the line break, you can try test it and give me feed back.

Oh thank you! Before I dig in, is it possible to do the same thing, but for tags instead of categories? Chrome is saying this file is malicious and won't download it. I can't find this plugin online anywhere. Is there somewhere else I could find it? I am willing to pay for it, and I am already a DW Q&A Pro user.

Yes, you can assign users to tags. However, it needs some customization, and luckily we're currently running the WordPress Customization service.

Thanks for email advance plugin! I have add email in Manager Emails. Notifications regularly come to manager email. But, if manager answer in question, he also receives a same notification intended for the subscriber.
