Hi,
We use your Q&A plugin for our community site which is great, we also promote it to people as a way to build SEO.
We could like to be able to put our very keyword focused blog posts onto the right nav like popular questions on our community site, here is an example of what I’m talking about.
Thanks Folks,
Pete

Nice community site you’ve got there, Peter. May I ask which version of DWQA you’re using? Thanks!

PS: I do notice that you’re not using a profile page, are you?

Thanks Yan, well it’s mostly your guys work.

We were trying to work out how to increase our support and were using Intercom. Then I noticed (pretty obvious) that intercom was full of great SEO content. So we dumped it and used the Q&A plugin after about 2 days mod’s, integrating it with the help button in our app etc.. It gave us a 56% lift in SEO! So thank you. You should do a case study on it, I’d never use as hosted support product again. We constantly plug it in our talk and people love it http://goo.gl/v5jowi (point 1)

We use Version 1.2.0. My developer said he doesn’t want to update the plugin because WP is flaky at the best of times, and he’s hacked the Q&A plugin so worried an update will break everything.

We do use small part of the profile page, as in when you post a question you’ve to create a U&P. But we didn’t create full profiles, we wanted people to post quests ASAP. The login alone dropped our Q&A down about 50% which is great for support but not great for SEO.

Thanks Pete

Yan

PS One of the issues we have with the SEO is the question (which is the blog post) is usually very short ‘How do you do vat returns’, which isn’t good for SEO. But my answer might be 300 words, which is great for SEO. But the answers go into Comments and Yoast only focuses on the blog post. You ever heard of a yoast plugin for comments, or do you think we can use Q&A better, ideally the answers would be also posts!
