Can I install theme dw-simplex as usual?

Is there a way to just install theme the dw simplex theme?

I see on the dw-simplex page, that it comes with other plugins installed. Can I just extract the theme files and upload them?

I saw that guide, but that installed jigoshop, which is what I am trying to avoid. I just want the theme. I copied the theme directory out of the wp-contents directory, but it still added a bunch of stuff to the admin sidebar.
