My site was updated from backup, to a state of a month and a half ago. All questions and answers since then have been deleted.
I have an up-to-date backup of the TAR file.
You wanted to know if I could extract a file from there with the questions and paste on the new server, or is it more complex?
Thanks!
Please let me know about the tool or plugin have you used to backup the content.

Thanks for the full details.
I know how to restore backup.
That’s not my question.
My question is whether you can take a folder or file from the backup, and replace it with an existing file, thus updating the Q & A.
At the moment, you can not "take a folder or file from the backup, and replace it with an existing file" as you mentioned here.
Thanks!
