Can pictures in the slider be linked to web pages?

To add image to the slider of DW Simplex, please follow my instruction:

Firstly, add new the image to the media and copy the file url , you can see the screenshot : http://imgur.com/62utWI6

Next, go to the Slides > add new > paste the file url

Thank you for your prompt reply.  I know how to insert the pictures.  I want the browser to go to a specific web page when the user clicks on a specific picture.  Please e-mail me at [email protected].  I will give you more details.  thanks

To add link to your image, open the slides.php file in the folder path “\wp-content\themes\dw-simplex\inc”, find line 243 and add the following code:

<a href="<?php echo $slide['url'] ?>" > 

Next, you log in to Dashboard > slide > add new. you can add your link in the slide URL textbox :
