Common search for KB & QA

Hi,
Is there any possibility to merge both knowledgebase search & qa-forum search.
e.g. It may display search results of KB first and then QA forum results. Example can be seen at http://www.desk.com forum.

I don’t have KB setup now. I was asking if it is possible? To merge both modules will make it almost complete helpdesk system like desk.com of salesforce.
