I really liked the new feature for new Post/Blog Notification..but there are something wrong with the Notification count.
When i published new blog post i see the red count appeared on the bell..but if I refresh the page before I open the notification menu or even clicking on the button.. the count disappeared and it should be there until i press on the bell button to open the list!
How my users know if there are new Notifications when they open my site?
As you said “Notifications like Facebook”! But Facebook keeping the notifications count until you pressed on the bell button!
So please how can i fix it to keep the notifications count on the bell for highlighting all my users is there new post is published.
Last thing: when I activated DW Notifications plugin, I see the admin-ajax.php calling every 1 or 2 seconds on front end, and this is makes my site loading too much! and when i looking to my Process List of my host server i saw huge CPU Time Usage!!
So please How can i fix it?

There are another issue with the notifications count also!
why the maximum count is 5 ? even if there are more than 5 notifications!
