Hi, I’m using lastest version of DW question & answer (free) and WPML Multilingual CMS 3.3.7. When I clicked Make ‘Questions’ translatable and translated Question Categories. It automatically created so many copies of old category ‘Quetions’. . So my question is does DW question & answer support WPML or it simply is a bug? Thank you.
DominicCurrently, we don’t try using the DW Q&A plugin with WPML yet, therefore, it is hard for me to confirm that it can be compatible with DW Q&A or not. I think the plugin does not fully compatible with the WPML plugin.
However, If you want to translate the plugin you can ues Poedit and use the .po file to translate the plugin. If you want, you can send me your FTP, I will check and help you translate the plugin.
The plugin is already translated in my native language. I mean I wanna build a multilingual Q & A page. Normally, all the quesions in both languages will be displayed in the same page, it’s not nice at all. But if I click ‘ Make Questions translatable’ (by WPML) and translate categories only, the Q & A page now works more logically, showing questions in both languages separately depends on user pick. Sadly that it automatically creates so many copies of old category ‘Quetions’ as the image above. I guess it’s a bug and hope DW question & answer will be compatible with WPML soon.
