Email notifications of answer comments to the question author

i think you are confusing two different things. i am refering to the question author, not the author of the answer on which the comment was placed.

Yes, the plugin will send the email to question author when having an answer, comment.

i’ll give an example to further demonstrate my case:

person A asks a question.
person B answers an answer to A’s question.
person C makes a comment on B’s answer.

i want A to receive a notification to C’s comment.

is this possible? if so, how?

Yes, The authors will get all the notification from them question(answer, comment).

anyway, for now it doesn’t happen. when someone makes a comment on an answer, only the answer author receives the notification, but not the question author. how can i fix this?

You can list all the customization in your previous version for us, we will check and fix in the new one.
