Thank you, I asked the hosting service to update to the latest PHP version, and now it works.

I’m still getting the error but now it’s only with comments, when I post questions or answers it works fine. The comments do get posted, but it still gives me the same error

I have encountered the same problem with DW Q& A plugin ,after upgrading my wardress to 4.8.1.
. I get the same error on both my localhost install and the live site.

Following is the message that I get:

As per the instruction,found there,I edited the code on – plugins\dw-question-answer\inc\User.php:152. It solved my issue at both live site & localhost.
