How can I change the page numbers to unique text?

I have the timeline theme and along the right side of the site, it reads Page 1, Page 2, Page 3, Page 4, etc etc…
I would like to change these page headings to: 2000, 1990, 1980, 1970 etc etc…
Can you please tell me where I can change this in the theme?
