Hi,
At the moment, in the latest version. We have removed some widget which displayed by default in earlier versions. If you like the Recent post widget, you can use a plugin to instead. Please find the plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?type=term&q=recents+posts+widget
If you need add more style or change some style that you want, you can let me know detail about it, I will help you.

I installed "Recent Posts Widget Extended" and it appears that it will work fine for me, once I get the styling to match the rest of my categories.

Any styling which you could provide, so that it looks like it used to would be greatly appreciated.

I would strongly prefer the posts under "Most Recent Features, Popular Features" to look like they used to as in version 1.0.9:

If the styling proves to be too difficult, would it be possible for me to get a .wie file for the following to former DW Focus widgets as they display exact as I want:

DW Focus: Featured News
DW Focus: Popular News

I would be using "DW Focus:Popular News" for featured galleries, but I assume that it would work just fine.

In the latest version we have some change about Widget in the latest version. Just changed name for the widget and not change feature.

  • For Popular News, Featured News, News Carousel you can use new widget: DW Focus: News Grid instead.
  • For News Carousel, you can use new widget: DW Focus: News List instead.
  • For Headlines, you can use new widget: DW Focus: News Ticker instead.
  • For News Category, you can use new widget: DW Focus: News List instead
You can find here for the document guide on how to configure the theme: http://www.designwall.com/guide/dw-focus/
    Hope this helps !
