How to remove avatar or reduce its size

Hi, thank you for the plugin. I’m trying it out on my site.
Noticed a problem, on question list page and single question pages, the avatar next to author name is rather big, it overlaps/overs other elements. How to remove the avatar or reduce its size? I searched around and found a question from 3 years ago (https://www.designwall.com/question/profile-photo-too-big-after-posting-comment/ ), tried the code but it did not work. Any suggestion?
BTW, I’m using free version 1.5.4
