How to remove the text “new” on the top of new posts?

How to remove or change the text “new” that is there on the top of every new blog post on the homepage?

To resolve this problem you can log in to Dashboard > Posts.

– open the post you want to remove the text “new”
– At the bottom of screen, look for “Custom Fields”.

– And remove parameters in the Custom Fields as the following instruction:
+ Custom field name: ribbon
+ Custom field value: new

Please log in to Dashboard > Posts > and then open Screen Shot in the top right corner of the screen and select the “Custom Fields”
