Increase/decrease sale prices function

good day! i’m looking for files with information about function “Sale prices decrease by (fixed amount or %)”
i want to change it’s way of working, so it won’t take the number from field “Sale price” but from “Regular price”. This way i don’t have to fill up sale prica at all, only regular price. it will save me a lot of time because of hundreds of variations for each product.
