Hi – I just saw that you have your own support after I asked a support question in the comments.
I tried your suggestion below to move from a different QA plugin to yours (i left my original question & your answer below for reference). The questions and answers convert just fine, however the questions don’t show the answers connected. When I go into Answers, I see a space for question ID. To test it, I entered a question ID and it worked. I have almost 100 questions – is there a way to fix this without me having to manually enter all the question ids? Thanks!

Is it possible to import questions & answers from a different qa plugin to yours?

Hi there,
Thanks for writing in. In order to import the data from a different QA plugin to ours, you can follow these steps:
1. Use Tools > Export to export all your questions and then all your answers > do them separately > to .xml format. After that, please download the files and store them as backups.
2. Install and activate the Convert Post Types plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/convert-post-types/
3. Use that plugin to convert the questions to dwqa-questions and answers to dwqa-answers. (You got to have the DW Q&A activated).
Kindly let me know if it helps.

Hi, so sorry for my late reply, at first, if you convert from bbpress to DW Q&A then we have a tool to do that.
And about the problem of link the answer to question : i think you have to do it manually… how ever if you don’t want to do it manually, i might tell me about the question-answer system that you’re using and i’ll develop a tool as a custom service for you to link those question & answer to gether.

I well, at this time we’re not support that so i think have to do it manually :(. If you agree we can provide custom work to help you migrate them.
