You can use the shortcode

{dwqa-popular-questions number="5"}

(With {} substituted with []) to display the 5 most popular questions, but how can I display the vote count for each question next to each most popular question?

Unfortunately, out plugin does not support to display the vote count next to each most popular question as you mentioned.
