No notification emails when questions are answered

Hello,

I am responding to the WordPress support forum question here:

I checked and do have the New Answer Notifications enabled.

Could the issue be that I am allowing anonymous questions? I allow visitors to ask questions anonymously, but force them to enter their email. Many months ago the new answer emails were getting sent just fine. But it hasn’t worked for quite a while.

For reference, here is how I am forcing them to enter their email:

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the response. I don’t feel comfortable giving my website’s credentials to someone I don’t know. Is there no easy fix? Like adding or replacing some lines of code?

Please try replace all the file content in wp-content/plugins/dw-question-answer/inc/Notifications.php with the code below

When I replied answer to my user the email notification goes into their spam folder, how can it move to their normal inbox folder? Please !
