Hi there! I’ve been using DWQA for some time now without any issue. Lately, though, I’ve had a sporadic but recurring problem where the permalinks to question pages keep breaking and thus opening any question page leads to a 404 error.

I know how to fix that — by hitting the Save button on the Permalinks page within the WordPress settings — but I’d really like to identify why this keeps happening so that I can address the issue at the source and stop it from occurring so often.

The problem seems to come up (or at least I notice it) the morning after something has been posted into my forums. But it doesn’t happen every time something is posted; only some of the time.

Is this anything you’ve encountered before? And is there any sort of pointer you could give me as to any potential cause or where I might look to try to figure out what is making this happen?

Many thanks.

At the moment, the 404 not found can come from the .htacess has changed or permalink Structure has changed or conflicting with another plugin.
In this case, you can send me the username & password of your site for further checking.

Hello,

Just following up on this, as I haven’t heard anything back over the past week. I left the sign-in details in a private message. Did you have any further thoughts or suggestions on what might be causing this or what I could do to resolve it?

Many thanks.

Please accept my apology for the delay in getting back to you.
I have checked and still see that the plugin works fine. It’s very hard to find the issue when the plugin still works fine. In this case, you can contact us via live chat when the site facing that issue.
