Should I expect to see a side bar on the archive page with a list of questions? (list on this site).
For some reason, the list of questions on my site appears as a full width page without the default sidebar area provided by my theme. The sidebar does appear on the question and the answer pages.
I did force the page with the list of questions to use the default template provided by the theme (single page with sidebar).
I am using the Q&A Pro version with the Ward Pro theme (https://themes.bavotasan.com/themes/ward-pro-wordpress-theme/) on an intranet site – so no possibility for remote access or maintenance.
I am thinking it is a weird conflict with my theme but I wanted to make sure it is not a known issue.
Please send me username & password of your site for further checking. After checking, I will help you resolve it.
Unfortunately, I can’t since it is an intranet site.
I narrowed down the issue to the list of questions being an ‘archive’ page.
The theme I am using is forcing full width (no sidebar) for any page that is not a post or a plain page.
Since this is not an issue on Q&A’s side apparently, I will let it be for now and look into how to make wordpress treat the list of questions as a regular page instead of an archive.
If you can not share your username & password of your site, you can send me your theme package, we will download and install on our demo to check and help you resolve this issue.
You can upload your package into the dropbox or send me via email: [email protected]
