Can anyone help me with the situation : I have installed the DW Question Answer plugin (latest version) as an admin user for wordpress and have assigned a page to show the question list and also assigned a page to show the answer as the plugin suggested in the settings page. The problem is : The question list page doesn’t show the questions list if the user is logged-in and shows the questions list when the user is logged-out. Please help how / what I need to configure the plugin to show the list of questions even when the user is logged-in / logged-out.
Just for more details. Where did you download the plugin? On Github or on WordPress ? I tested the version on http://wordpress.org/ and it still works fine. On DesignWall.com site, we also use the latest version of the plugin, everything is still OK. Please note that on the Github, the product package is a developing version and it will face the bugs, so that you only use it for testing site, not live site.
Hi Dominic,
Firstly, thanks for your reply, I have downloaded the plugin from the plugins page of the wordpress (i.e. the admin area for adding new plugins on the local development machine – that I believe installs the plugin from wordpress.com), also the version that I have installed on my machine is 1.2.7.
Please suggest some action items that I could make this issue resolve.
Hey. I have the same problem. Plugin downloaded from wordpress.com.
But I noticed a feature when checked “Sticky Questions”, the questions are displayed, else “You can ask question “site.com/page” ”
screen:
1 – http://clip2net.com/clip/m0/1401547881-clip-25kb.png 4- Sticky Questions
2 – http://clip2net.com/clip/m0/1401548027-clip-10kb.png no Sticky Questions
To resolve this issue, you can log in to Dashboard > Settings > permalinks, you can change to the Default then change to the Post name.
