Theme is not installing i keep getting this error message "The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the <code>style.css</code> stylesheet.

I just purchased FOCUS but it is not installing i keep getting this error message “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the <code>style.css</code> stylesheet.
I tried to upload it straight to my server in to the files manager but its not appearing in my wordpress.
Please help

Hello Cedric !
If you want to get all the content as our demo, you need to use the quickstart.zip package and you cannot upload the quickstart.zip package into Dashboard > Theme.

Notice: When you use the theme.zip package and upload into the Dashboard, you will not get all the content.
if you still face there issue, you can send me your hosting, I will help you install the theme.

You have to upload only the contents of the directory, not the entire zip file. The ftp created in the /theme folder dw-focus and upload it to unzip the contents of a folder dw-focus.zip

Hi,

I am having the same issue except with DW Focus News Theme. I tried to upload it straight to my server in to the files manager but its not appearing in my wordpress. We already have an existing database and thus would like to not have to do it from scratch.

Is it possible that we could send our hosting information? We do not want to custom build the website from scratch.
