Hi there,

It seems to be very difficult to answer my question, since I’m e-mailing about it for months. So I hope the technical team can help me out at this forum.

I am using DW Page Modern and I am absolutely missing single post page. I bought this theme because I’m a writer, and now I can’t even share my articles on social media. Anyhow, your collegea told me that an update is available (1.1.0) which enables single post page. But… how can I update the theme in WordPress? WordPress tells me there’s no update available.

I’m using version 1.0.6 and bought it at Creative Market.

Please accept my apology for the delay in getting back to you.
I have checked on email and not find your email anywhere. Which email are you using to send your email. Maybe, it’s issue from system.
About your issue, the DW Page Modern does not support to create a single post as you want.
Also, DW Page in our home designwall.com is a bit different from the single theme DW Page modern here. The version on our site is packed with all 6 child themes. As DW Page 1.1.0 is re-developed from scratch, as mentioned in this post http://bit.ly/1TpcImO, it takes us time to get DW Page Modern updated accordingly. Please be patient.
f you want to have it, we are ready to help you as a custom work with a charge of fee ( about $40).
In case that you are still interested in the feature, please kindly let us know, we will check and estimate the time.

Thanks for your answer. I don’t fully understand it. When will DW Page Modern be updated? And if it has an update, am I able to update the theme in my WordPress-page? Cause if I understand it right, there already is an update, which I cannot download? I bought the theme because it has this special section for blogs. But without the single post page.. it just doesn’t work for me at all. I cannot post my blogs at my Facebook and I also cannot refer to a single blogpost, for example if I want to send a specific blogpost to someone. So this theme basically doesn’t fit the purpose of my website at all… Which would be fine (you don’t have to fit with everyone’s business), but at this point I feel kind of ripped off, because you advertise with this theme having a special section for blogs. So I don’t think it’s fair to pay another $40 since I bought this theme with the whole idea of starting a blog at my website.
I hope you understand my point of view and I hope we can find a solution…

Yes, I know what you want. Currently, the DW Page Modern does not update to include the single post. we have released the latest version is 1.0.6. Such as I have answered in the previous answer. The DW Page version 1.1.0 in our home designwall.com is a bit different from the single theme DW Page modern on the creativemarket.com. Right now, you can send me username & password of your site and FTP, I will help you create a single post and the post on Blog section will link to single page instead of popup.
