DominicI have checked your screenshot and see that the issue comes from the FontAwesome icon not loaded. I this case, you can add the following code to your header.php file of your theme, you can insert this code after <head> tag:
<link href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.7.0/css/font-awesome.min.css" rel="stylesheet" integrity="sha384-wvfXpqpZZVQGK6TAh5PVlGOfQNHSoD2xbE+QkPxCAFlNEevoEH3Sl0sibVcOQVnN" crossorigin="anonymous">
If you still face their issue, you can send me username & password of your site for further checking, I will help you resolve it.

With regards to sidebar: yes you solved the sidebar issue for the Questions & Answers page BUT in the process you destroyed the sidebars for the idea exhange page and the blog post side bar. I think you included a code tht blocs all the other sidebars. This was not the case before. I send you the screen shots to explain the problem. Also, you said that you would send me an email but you didn’t.
