Hi, is there a way to change the from to in the emails that are sent via Q&A to not say WordPress and Howdy to my users. Makes it sound like I’m a cowboy or something. I mean really who says howdy anyway, LOl… Thanks for your help.

Hi Dom,

Nice plugin you have suggested there 😀 (actually we sue quite a lot “Howdy” in our email, may time to change too)

Regarding Email template editing, you can take a look at our user guide here to know how to change all content of the notification emails in DW Q&A plugin:

Hope that helps!

I have been trying to change the word Howdy to in the emails. I found what I thought were the email html templates in dwt-answer-question/inc/templates/email and edited each one to change the word howdy to hi. But emails are still being created with the word Howdy and I am struggling to find where else this is being picked up.Howdy is not really acceptable in UK English (not so many cowboys) but I guess widely used in USA. I hope you can help.

Euraka – I missed the salutation on the templates in the set up pages. It gets masked by the frame in which the template is placed.
