Just purchased theme, zip file exceeds max file upload on wordpress. Please advise

I have downloaded the new purchased focus theme and have tried installing it to my wordpress, then this error message comes across ” The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini. “.

Please advise.

Hello Steven IP !

The issue could be due to wrong installation of the theme.
Please unzip the downloaded package. Then look for Quickstart folder, and use this folder to install the theme.

Hi Dominic, thanks for that, this is not possible as the quick start folder is over 23 Mb, too be to upload as a new theme. As a result I have only installed the theme zip which is 1mb.

Hi Steven Ip !

You can upload the theme using FTP or look at increasing the max-upload_size on the server.

Or you can send for me username & password your hosting, I can help you install.
