Hi There – a quick few pre-sales questions about your plugin here:
- I need to create a forum where there are 5-10 discreet categories and I will organise each category to have a couple of subject matter experts with special permissions. I see categories are a feature of the plugin – Is it possible to trigger an email to each category’s expert to notify them that there is a new question in their specific category?
- is it possible to set up a forum where the site admin or category expert needs to approve a new question (and possibly answer it) before it appears on the forum?
- does your plugin offer the option for responses to only come from admins or designated category experts (and not other users in the community)? I mean, as the admin, can I choose this rule for my forum? what about for a specific category?
- as admin, can I suppress the function for user voting of best answer and instead control the selection of top answer (eg. if it’s answered by the subject matter expert it appears at the top
- do users need to register to ask a question? (or is it basically the same as the way I’m submitting this question right now!!!?)
- do users get notified of responses on their questions

1/ At the moment, the plugin does not support to trigger an email to each category’s expert to notify them that there is a new question in their specific category and create the forum with each category as you wish.
2/ Yes, you can configure in the Settings section of the DW Q&A. We have included this option for the Question and Answer.
3/ Yes, we have provided the permission settings for the user role and can configure to allow the user role can submit, view and edit the question, answer.
4/ Yes, you can go to the Dashboard > Questions > Settings and go to the Answer section to configure it. See the screenshot: http://prntscr.com/koh6lo
5/ Yes, you can configure in the Permission settings.
6/ Yes, you can configure in the Notification in the Setting of the plugin.
