DW Minion: Keep the accordion menu expanded after clicking on a link in that specific menu.

Is it possible to change the accordion widget so that the menu stays expanded when one of its links is clicked? Let’s say I expand one of the menus in the accordion. I then click on one of the page links in that expanded menu. Once I have navigated to that page from clicking the page link, I would like to make it so that the specific menu with that link stays expanded (and the link remains highlighted). Any tips would be appreciated! I have already set the default state of the accordion to ‘collapsed’ in widgets.php.
