How can i set the excerpt length for DW Focus?

Ive tried to add default wordpress codex for excerpt length but it doesn’t work.

To shorten a post on the DW Focus theme, you can use a “read more” link.

Please log in to Dashboards > Post > add new > import content.
Then, in the content frame , Put your cursor where you want to end the excerpted content of your post, and click on the more quicktag button. Please take a view below:

Is it possible to display, as excerpt, the first xxx characters from post?

You can use a Read more link.
Notice: You should select the first line of the posts.
