Exclude categories in Slider Widget

Hi,

How can I exclude one/various categories in the Widget News Slider? now just can select one category or all. I want to select more than one, but not all

I’m looking for the same answer, it seems it has been removed from here.
Anyone has a working Wp_Query() ?
