Featured image duplicates on post and wrong size.

Featured image duplicates on post and gets blown up massively

When I set the featured image on a new post, the featured image gets duplicated and blown up to full screen. I have seen a couple of people mention this on the threads but with no proper answer. It must be an issue if it keeps cropping up.

It’s very frustrating. Also there is no theme options tab either. I have just purchased this theme and spend 5 hours figuring out things which should be pretty straight forward like other themes. I’m beginning to regret this purchase, fab design but too many problems to configure.

Hello Steven Ip !

. To resize the featured image, you can go to Dashboard > Setting > Media and change it here.
And We mostly use the size 500×400 for all the article images. The system will automatically resize and get the smaller images for the website. To be specific:

– 500×400 images are used for:

Widgets:

News Slider
Featured Image
Single post và Featured Image

First article of Category Archive

– 230×130 are used for:

Widgets:

Recent news, Featured News, Popular News (If you select Medium size images)
Category (3 cols)
News Carousel

Articles on Archive page

– 110×110 are used for:

Widgets:

Recent news, Featured News, Popular News (If you select Thumbnail image size)
Category (1 col)

In the new versions, you can find the theme options in the Dashboard > Theme > Customize.
