Hi,

I’d really like to display full width images within my posts (i.e. 100% of the available screen width). Is this feature available in DWTimeline pro?

Thanks,

Ben

Hi Dominic,

Apologies if my question wasn’t clear.

Blog posts are constrained by a centered container and images within that blog post are constrained by the "max-width: 100%" declaration in the CSS for img tags.

This means an image can only ever be as large as the container.

I have modified the container to make it wider, as my blog is photography based and I want to showcase my images. Here is what I have today:

However what I would like is for the image to expand beyond the size of the container. I’ve hacked the CSS below to demonstrate what I want:

However, this won’t work as the code for the site as it impacts the responsive nature of the site and breaks the display on mobile devices.

So I’m wondering, is it possible with the theme to have an image display the full width of the page without losing the responsive nature of the site?

Thanks!

Ben
