Please advise.
I have already watched the YouTube video and I have already read the questions and answers in the forum. They don’t seem to apply. I am trying to replace my current theme using the database I already have. I am using the file manager in my hosting account. I have already spent hours on this and it has become frustrating. As of today I don’t see proper documentation.

You can use the old database with a new set of WP files.
You don’t need to install the Quickstart! Just upload the wp-config.php files, edit the config file to connect to the DB and you are good to go!
Please make sure to keep the same database name
See the Screenshot:

  • test_test    is your MySQL Database Name

  • test    is your MySQL User Name

  • test    is your MySQL password

  • localhost    is your MySQL Host Name

Also, please find here for the document guide on how to configure the theme: http://cmspioneer.com/designwall/guide/dw-wall/

Hey! I have the same issue. We are trying to upload the Quickstart of DW Focus, but already have a database with WPEngine. How can we get the whole set up without having to go and do everything from scratch? Where do you upload the configuration files and how do we thus connect it with the database?

Would really prefer not to make the website from scratch but use the template given, which is the reason why we decided to buy this theme.

Hope that you are well today, my friend 🙂
I checked your site and saw that you have finished installing the DW Focus theme with the theme.zip package. Hence, you just have a blank site. Please note that you get the site with full demo content as on our demo site, you need to use the quickstart.zip package and you can not upload it through Dashboard>> Themes.
With the account you provided, we can not help you install the quickstart package, please send us your account of the hosting. We will help you install the theme with all the content as our demo.
