How to enable pagination for DW Focus?

I want to split my posts into several pages.
I had tried to enable pagination through  but it only results in displaying the standard WordPress pagination as div.page-links.
Would anyone please assist me?

My configuration – Theme: DW Focus, WordPress V. 4.3.1

Hi,
I have checked on our demo and it work fine, place your cursor in the spot where you want a page break to appear in your post and type  (you need to use the text mode of the editor to do so).
