BigHugPopular News widgets will show posts that have most views from your site, if another posts do not have enough views to join the top, it will not be shown. So Popular News widget will show same posts for a long time.

Dom AmorI recently installed Focus and I have the same issue. Did not have that issue with my older theme. I gave it a few days and still no luck. The ones that are showing are post that really don’t get much traffic at all.

We will double check and make DW Focus’s widgets work better. At the moment, please use another plugins that support the popular posts widget to help you resolve problem and improve your page’s traffic.

But I still have this version and Popular News widget doesn’t work…
Sorry for my previous mistake. We have now released the updated version of the theme. However, the bug with the Popular News widgets isn’t still yet fixed in this version. Please try an other plugin to help you out as the solutions provided by BigHug
