To resolve this issue, you can do as the following:

  • Open the question page then click the Categories(Your categories):
    See the screenshot: http://prntscr.com/7prpn6
  • Copy the link (screenshot).
  • Log in to Dashboard > Appearance > Menu > Custom Links then paste your categories link into URL section and add your Page name in the Link Text section.
    See the screenshot: http://prntscr.com/7prrso
  • Click Add To Menu button.

NOTE: After finishing and check it, If you click on each category (or now page) it says Oops Page not found. Please log in to Dashboard > Settings > Permalink then click the Save button, or send me username & password of your site for further checking.
Hope this helps !

Yes this is one solution, But I also want to show some other Contact on that page. Are there any short code? or something else by which i can show questions from a specific category on any page??

At the moment, our plugin does not support to use shortcode to display a specific category on any page. However, I think it’s a good idea, we will discuss about it in the next version.

Hello Dominic,

My need is similar: to filter questions (or answers) by categories and embed them in various parts of my pages (not displaying a full page). I am looking for a Q&A plugin able to do this and it seems that DW-QA is almost perfect for that: I’ve browsed your code and it seems that everything is written in a very clean and modular fashion and that filters are ready for it.

So I thought I would be able to understand your code, use some filters and add a template in my theme to do the stuff. However, I’m not a rocket programmer and I’m lost in your various calls and classes, and I failed at understanding how to properly do that.

I really can’t wait for a next version (unless it is a matter of days?) to do it. So would you have some clues for putting me on the right track?

Many thanks in advance!
Yves.

Dominic, just to add that maybe my question above is specific and would require me to buy your single-plugin licence to get your support. I haven’t bought this licence yet since your DW-QA plugin appears to be free.

So I can understand that some specific support is not free, just tell me. $29 for one year of support is a usual and reasonable price for such a well-featured plugin.

I know what you want. I hope you can wait to update a latest version with some updates and fix bug, we will include the shortcode to allow use shortcode to display each categories as you mentioned here. Hope you understand what I mean, my friend.

Great to know that it will be a standard feature 🙂 I can wait a few days, but not a few weeks. Hope it will come very soon!?
