Category Posts not displaying porperly on the home page

Hello,
On the homepage of my website I have used various widgets like DW Focus Categories & DW Focus Featured News but instead of showing posts from the category that I have selected, it s displaying only the recently published articles. I have tried using all combinations on all widgets, but they just do not seem to work.
The website is live and thus I am facing a lot issues. Would be grateful of quick help!!

Firstly, please find here for the document guide on how to configure the theme: http://designwall.com/guide/dw-focus/.
Note: All the widgets that you are using on your site will display the recent posts from categories which you selected before.
