Dropdown menu not working with sample content on dw-resume

Hi,
I installed DW-Resume and imported the demo content. The dropdown menu is throwing an error in my console, which is preventing it from working.
The error is “jquery.smartmenus.min.js?ver=1.0.0:3 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘css’ of null”
The particular line in question is:

isCSSOn: function() {
 return "block" == this.$firstLink.css("display")
 },

It should be mentioned that I created a child theme from dw-resume.
Any idea what may be causing this?

I have checked on our demo and see that it still works fine, you can send me username & password of your site for further checking, I will help you resolve it as soon as possible.

I’m having the same issue with a recently purchased theme. It doesn’t show dropdown when megamenu is enabled. Disabling megamenu makes the dropdown display but in the wrong position.
