Brandon NelsonIn DW Purity, I was trying to create some initial content using the built in Visual Page Builder, when I click Update and/or Publish, it erases all the content I have built. If I switch out to the Default Editor and add some content, it saves just fine. I found this article:
Do I need to activate this option first? If so, where do I find that dialog box? I installed DW Purity on a second server as a test, and the same thing happens. Or is there some other setting I am missing?
For anyone having this issue, I’ve found some things out on my own. I ran test on a separate test site that was running no plugins on the latest version of WordPress to avoid any conflicts. After some research, I found that built into the DW Purity theme is the Unyson Framework. This is where the page builder component is from. There is an update that I ran immediately after my first install. Although not noted from inside the WP admin, it is version 2.7.7. The update has been causing all sort of chaos all over the internet. The plugin is built into this theme as an extension, so it resides in the theme folder:
wp-content/themes/dw-purity/framework
I deleted the entire /framework folder then uploaded the original from my initial Design Wall download. I believe the version is 2.6.x. This restores functionality. I’ll be watching the thread below before I try the upgrade again.

I just tried to update the theme extensions again and the update still breaks the page builder. When go to page/edit all the page builder content is still gone. The box where the page builder content populates is just blank. Has there been any work to resolve this issue? Unyson has released v.2.7.8 – 2.7.11 since I originally opened this thread. Most people that are using Unyson as a plugin seem to have the issue solved. However, it is still not resolved when using as an extension in the DW-Purity theme. The only plugins I am running are Wordfence, Slider Revolution and Enable Media Replace. Does your version run with the updated ‘framework’ extensions?

We have updated the new package for the DW Purity, you can download the theme form the profile now.
I don’t see a new version in the download section or from my updates panel. Is the update in the existing v1.0.1 package?
We just fixed and updated the unyson version not update version of the theme.
