DW Reactions editing template file

Hello! I juste installed DW-Reactions and its fine! But I would like to edit the dw-reactions.php (add, modify some words) file for my child-theme

Can you help me with the hierarchy ?

For the time being, if you want to customize our plugins, you can only change directly in the plugins’ files in the plugin folder.

And what about if theres an update? Will I lose all my changes?

Yes, if you change in the plugin file, you will lose all the changes. I this case, you can create a back-up folder and add all the file that you have changed to the folder or you can let me know all the change that you want to edit for the plugin, I will check it.
