How can I change the background color from white to black

Specifically I would like to change the background color on my Ask Question page.
I can easily change the color but then you can not see the font. I changed the font skin to dark, but the text in the Topic field displays white, so users cannot see what you are typing.
Please advise.

If you want to fix the color in the Title section, you can use the following code:

.submit-dwqa-question .dwqa-search input {
   color: #000;
}
