Hi,
I want to allow the (non-admin) user member who asked the question to mark the question resolved.
Currently I’m only seeing this as an admin option. Is there a way to allow non-admin user, specially author of the question to mark it resolved?
Thanks!

Yes, you can and our plugin have supported it. All the authors of the questions can change the status of the questions.

OK. I am not seeing it. Is there a setting that controls it? Keep in mind I want to give only the original posters (who asked the question) to be able to change it, not all users.

I played around and noticed that if I turn on edit, it allows the user to change the status of the question, but also allows the user to edit the question. Is there way to no allow edit, but only allow update status?

The idea is that the user should only be able to mark the question as resolved or closed, but not change anything else.

Just following up on this. I had left comments for your last reply. Didn’t know if you wanted me to leave those in the answer field or comments field.

You can go to the Dashboard > Questions > Settings Permission.

I understand where to change it. My question is:
Is there way to not allow editing the question once posted, but only allow update status?

I know what you want now. Sorry about my mistake in the previous answer. I have checked this issue and discuss with our technical team and see that the plugin does not support this option.
