How to add a link to the main navigation?

Is it possible to add an exteral LINK to the main navigation the opens a new window to an external page?
We tried to add a CUSTOM LINK in the wordpress menu section, but the theme created a jump menu to the bottom of our page.

One more quick note: right now when we create the Custom Link from the left side menu then save the main menu, the theme strips out “Navigation Label” and leave it blank, so it doesnt show up on the live site.

Hi Doug,
Currently, our DW Page theme does not support the CUSTOM LINK in the main menu section.
You only possible add the Custom Link to the Extra Menu.
